Your Body Isn’t Betraying You. It’s Changing. Let’s Figure It Out Together.

Nutrition support for women in their 40s and 50s navigating perimenopause, frustrating digestive symptoms, and a body that suddenly feels unfamiliar — without another diet.

If your body has started to feel different in your 40s or 50s, you’re not imagining it.

If your body has started to feel different, you’re not imagining it — and you’re not failing.

The digestion changes, the energy shifts, the hunger cues that don’t make sense anymore: these are connected. Most advice treats them separately. I don’t.

I help you understand the full picture. And then we do something about it — without food rules, restriction, or starting over.

Services

Let’s Work Together

I work with women who are tired of generic nutrition advice and one-size-fits-all protocols. Whether you’re navigating perimenopause, chronic digestive symptoms, or a complicated relationship with food, I bring a clinical, weight-neutral lens to understanding what’s actually going on — and what to do about it.

Individual

The Midlife Nutrition Partnership

For women who want a thinking partner for the long haul

Some women don’t need a fixed program — they need consistent, high-touch support over 3 to 6 months as their body and life evolve. Most of my clients in this track work with me for 3 to 9 months, depending on their goals.

Each month includes 1:1 sessions, between-visit messaging, food and symptom journal review, and coordination with your doctors and therapists as needed. We work at your pace, on your priorities.

Individual

The Calm Gut Program

For women who are done troubleshooting their gut alone

If bloating, unpredictable digestion, or years of elimination diets have taken over your life — this is the structured, clinically-informed support you’ve been looking for.

We’ll identify what’s actually driving your symptoms, expand your food choices, and build a plan rooted in your physiology — not a generic protocol.

✔ Fewer symptom-driven days
✔ More foods back on your plate
✔ A clear plan rooted in physiology, not restriction

Individual

Midlife Nutrition Intensive

One focused session to get clear on what’s happening and what to do

Not ready for a full program? This single 90-minute session gives you a comprehensive assessment of your symptoms, eating patterns, and health history — and a clear, personalized roadmap for what to do next.

This is a real clinical conversation, not a sales call.

For some women, the Intensive is the clarity they needed to move forward on their own. For others, it becomes the starting point for deeper, ongoing work together. Either way, you leave with a clear picture of what’s going on and what to do next.

TESTIMONIALS

Here's what my clients say — in their own words:

"I've now had the same bag of Skittles in my house for almost 2 months..."

I don't have anxiety around food anymore. I truly didn't think I could keep certain foods in my home because I didn't trust myself. I've now had the same bag of Skittles in my house for almost 2 months and that's my favorite candy! I am able to eat ALL foods now and don't feel like food has power over me.

Client Successes

I'm able to eat food and recognize when I'm content.

I was very focused on my body and had a very complex relationship with food and felt like health was a thing of the past.  As a result of our work I'm able to eat food and recognize when I'm content. I don't need to measure things or portion control. I'm able to stop when comfortably full and can't think of the last time I was stuffed. I feel much better about myself overall.

Kelly is the best guide to help you on this journey

My relationship with food was in an obsessive state when we first started speaking.  I also was not very happy with my body and how much space I took up in the world. You have to be willing to put in the work and effort to heal your relationship with food, but if you are willing Kelly is the best guide to help you on this journey.

Hi there!

I’m Kelly Abramson

A Registered Dietitian & Menopause Society Certified Practitioner with nearly 25 years of experience.

I help women understand what’s actually driving their symptoms — and build a way of eating that feels good, works with their body, and doesn’t require white-knuckling their way through a list of forbidden foods.

I have a long history of working in eating disorder recovery and intuitive eating, and that background helps inform my work to this day.

When my own digestion fell apart after a parasite infection, and again when perimenopause hit, I went deep into the research. What I found changed how I work with every client.
